30-day Six Pack Sprint: Day 7
Congratulations, you've made it to Day 7 of the 30-day Six Pack Challenge. Since you've gotten this far, you've earned a nice day of rest AND an entire day of carb-loading. If unfamiliar with this concept, the basic goal is to restore the muscle glycogen back into your muscles that you depleted during the week, so you can be fresh again for next week. So today you'll eat 50% more calorie...s today consisting of 60% clean carbs 30% protein and 10% fat. Clean carbs include grains/starches like bread, potatoes, pasta, but NOT sugar or fruit. So it's not a cheat day (that's next weekend). I've divided it up into 3 meals + 2 snacks, as it's important to evenly space out your carbs throughout the day. Have fun on your day off!show more
