Are women finding success with 4 Hour Body? Over at 4-HBTalk we are discussing this and the women are not seeing very good results. Any feedback you can offer? I read about Laura Cox on this site - way to go. She changed things up - no beans at main meals, no snacks. Look forward to your replies.

I made these this morning for breakfast, with a side of greens. They taste like potato pancakes and the onion gives them a nice bite. Ingredients: 1 can of beans, drained and rinsed (I used pinto) 1 small cooking onion, diced 1 whole large egg, beaten egg whites added as needed salt and pepper to taste oil to fry (I used ...

Tomorrow I'm going to have my first 'cheat day' or 'carb loading' day, which apparently are 2 different things. My leptin levels are probably so low that my metabolism has slowed. Plus I've gone god-knows-how-long without bread, alcohol, and caffeine and I think I've earned it. Everything I read does confirm the 'cheat day' ...

I was just wondering if eating too much beans can halt your weight loss because it makes me feel sooo heavy after eating them. I eat them because they do help make me feel full, but how much is too much, and how many times a day should i eat them??

I've ran into a problem! I go to the bathroom like 2 twice a week, since I've started the diet. This is my 3rd week and it's awful going twice a week. I workout every Mon., Wed., and Fri.(small cardio in the morning and a jog on the treadmill at night). I don't know what to do!! These are my 3 meals: Breakfast: 3 whole eggs...

SCD anti-social?

Hey everyone! I managed to stick to SCD without any cheating on non-cheat days for 4 weeks. Then I just became so annoyed by the fact that I can't have dinner at my friends/family because it's almost never SCD-friendly; it feels pretty ungrateful not being able to take a single bite of what they cooked up for you. Add to t...

I am at the end of week 2 and I just did pre weigh in before my cheat day. I'm so sad! I have plateaued after losing 1.9kg in my first week, I would be ok if I saw inch loss instead but absolutely nothing. I'm really disappointed, not because the diet is hard, actually it is not far from what I was already eating but simpl...

I talked to Laura and we are playing with an idea. I would love to hear your opinion on it. How you like idea of having simple buddy matcher. Kind of what they have in rock climbing gyms. If you have not been to those it is something that allows people to match with partner, so they can climb together. If you are more body...

I'm wondering if anyone has tried switching to the alternative sleep schedules. I'm considering switching to Everyman 3 (3hour core + 3 naps). I was wondering if anyone had any pointers to share. I'm really busy at the moment, want to minimize the mental deterioration during adjustment. Does anyone know whether it work...

I have dropped about 8 lbs in under a month and my waist measurement has gone down maybe 1-2cm so far, but I seem to be loosing fat in all the wrong places, like upper chest/shoulders area and butt/hips. went from 179 to 171 so I wasn't that fat to begin with but still have maybe 1-1.5 inches on my belly button area, enough...

Since I started SCD I have been cooking more often. However when I shop I try to pick items that require the least preparation. On Wednesdays Longos has a special on a whole cooked BBQ chicken for $6.99. I usually grab 2 and that provides me with a good amount of my protein for the next 2 to 3 days. I also found cooked...

Tiny point of confusion here. So I have read in the 4HB fat burning section, and I am starting the SCD tomorrow. I read that grapefruit juice will extend the effects of caffeine. What I am trying to understand is when is the optimal time to drink these? I should drink the coffee, then the gf juice correct? Before or afte...
