First cheat day
I had my first cheat day on Saturday! I didn't go all crazy, I only had 2 beers all day, plus snacks, a blueberry muffin, a slice of pizza, I drank my gallon of water as I usually do, the one thing I completely forgot was DAMAG CONTROL, I didn't do any of it, but I did workout Saturday morning before cheating, I weighed myself just to see the damage I had done and I was up 6 lbs, how is that possible, I'm really worried that I messed myself up! that is a lot of weight to gain in one day, I just hope that I get to lose more this week, I will not weight myself until Sat. Morning now!

Mary do not worry about how much weight you gained after cheat day and you did not mess up! Remember that carbs especially the beer, muffin, and pizza will cause you to retain water. You did great in drinking the gallon of water. Some people do not do damage control and still lose. You will need to try it next week and see if it makes a difference for you. This way of eating is all about what works and doesn't work for you. Keep up the good work! I forgot to add that the water weight will come off during the week.
No worries. That 6lb is water retention and the weight of the food.
It will all whoosh away in a few days plus some more fat loss.
I would wonder if you had enough carbs to spike your leptin. You don't have to eat junk food. I have tons of fruit, yogurt, sweet potatoes and rice on my cheat day.
