Not necessarily. As you know, supplements are simply supplements. I can't stress that enough. They are simply aids to your hard work. They DON'T do the work for you. Personally, I don't include the garlic extract because of an allergy issue, and the lack of its presence in my opinion, only minimally affects progress. As a stack, PAGG together hits 4 different pathways to fat loss. Not using one of them only decreases it's effectiveness. However, how effective they are together versus individually is different for everyone. Don't worry about it too much .
