Well, sort of...
I'm going on vacation for the week of Thanksgiving, and it's going to be damned impossible to keep up with SCD, so I'll be off the diet for about a week Cheat week, I suppose.
The weird part is I'm not even looking forward to it. I want to keep up with the diet, but it's not even going to be an option.
Yep! I'm adjusting my Cheat Days(which are usually on Saturday) for Thanksgiving. Last Friday was the first shifted Cheat Day...and this week...we're having another Friday Cheat Day, then, Thanksgiving...then, we're going to go for 8 days on SCD after Thanksgiving and reset it for the following Saturday. I Hope that week will have a great weight loss! Last week's weigh-in was rather meh due to 5 day SCD and impending monthly visitor.

Saaaame here. I started the diet on a Thursday on purpose so that I could really enjoy it when the holidays roll around and not hate my diet.
Does anyone know what the repercussions of changing your cheat day from time to time are? I'd like to move my cheat day to the same day of the week as Christmas in the following month.
I had 2 slices of pie on Thanksgiving, and am still having cheat day today (Saturday). It may just be the sugar and fat talking right now, but I LOVE cheat day. I'm eating foods that I haven't let myself eat in YEARS. Today I had 2 cookie ice cream sandwiches (the ones covered in mini chocolate chips). 400 calories each, 23 grams of fat. I love them, and hadn't had one in years. I felt absolutely nauseous afterwards, but it was totally worth it.
