Keep it simple...the first couple weeks I tried all kinds of complicated meals and lost a pound or two here and there. Then I switched to various combinations of Lentils, eggs, spinach and turkey burgers and the fat started coming off a lot faster.
Also, the book is the best resource. I've gone back and reread the chapters on Slow Carb at least three times. The closer I follow Tim's recommendations the better it works.
and as a parting thought, Drink TONS of water and make sure you get your 30g of protein at breakfast!

Hey, I'm happy that you are seeing success too. SCD is amazing.
I'm kinda experimenting with cheat days. I always pig out (I love me some donuts, sugary iced coffee, sugar cookies, chocolate candy, pastries....making myself hungry lol) but I've noticed that I seem less bloated the day after if I eat the bulk of my junk earlier in the day and go to bed feeling satisfied, but not full. The days when I go to bed stuffed to the gills with garbage, I feel fat as hell the next day or two. Since I've only had 4 cheat days, I'm still exploring/tweaking my binge strategy.
