Kettlebell Weight for Beginner?
Hi all! I'm starting my kettlebell workouts this week and want to know what's a good starting weight kettleball to use for someone that's new to weight training? (I'm female with a lot of weight to use and a relatively strong upper body/former athlete, if that makes a difference.) I'll be at the gym, so it all the options are there.
Thanks!

You want a weight that you can get through 20 reps with proper form, but a weight that's challenging; that you can "grow into."
For females, the recommendations I've seen are to start with a 35 or 44 pound one. If you can get one from a brick-and-mortar store, you can lift them to feel how heavy they are.
