Ramadan (Fasting) and the 4HB
Since Ramadan starts after tomorrow, i need advice from anyone that would know/recommend a training/diet regiment that could work in order to maintain my current program.
Ramadan is a month of fasting from sunrise to sunset. No water, no food all day. So i need to fit all meals and workouts from sunset to sunrise. Check my profile for my current regiment (hybrid of OP and G2F)
What i plan on doing is this:
Two hours after my first meal at sunset (7pm) i'll workout (so at 9pm). Then have a protein shake (2 scoops + water). Before I goto sleep (11pm) i'll have a slow-carb + high protein meal (need suggestions on foods). Then before sunrise (5am) ill have a protein shake (almond milk, 2 scoops organic whey protein, 2 tsp almond butter, 2 tsp flaxseed, banana) + peanut butter & honey sandwich + a lot of water.
Does this sound like a good plan? Any suggestions? I used to work out 2 hours BEFORE sunset while fasting, but its draining and no protein or any food to refuel doesn't seem healthy.
Thanks

This is just one story of how people's bodies adapt.
All I have is theories but i do know that our bodies grow and heal during rest...
I wouldn't be opposed to working out without a pre-workout meal and having a drink ASAP. Many people workout first thing in the morning after our bodies have fasted for hours anyway.
