I did start to notice a difference after a few weeks of kettlebells, some definition starting to show, though I still have a long way to go. I hate to say it but I've slacked off on the exercise lately, I guess it's time to get back in the saddle!

Before & After
Hi All. I've been on SCD since about mid-April. I haven't been keeping track of inches or lbs, rather I've just been going by how stuff fits. As long as my pants are getting bigger, I'm happy!
In the past month I have started Kettlebell Swings and Jogging. So far I am down three sizes and I think around 22 lbs. The photo on the left was the week I started, back in April. The photo on the right I took this morning. I hadn't been able to wear those pants or that top in over 2 years so it feels pretty good to put them on and realize that not only do they fit, they're actually loose!

Way to go! What an awesome difference, look at your waist line! That is a huge inspiration to me, I'm just getting started on the SCD. Glad to see some female results in the before & afters!

quick question...did you notice much change in the last month with the increase in exercise....by the way you look fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!

As someone who is just getting use to the SCD lifestyle, any tips or advice or somethings you realized work better for you over others?

Thank you! The main thing is get your early a.m. protein, it's all pretty easy from there. I started out eating a lot more beans until I got used to it, I have been able to gradually cut down on those, though they are still an every day staple. I found a good green tea that helped my cut back my soda (tazo green ginger, awesome hot or cold) and oddly enough, a glass of red wine at night pretty much eliminated any late-night snack cravings I would get.

Thanks everyone! Kath, everyone said the 5th week was when you start to see a noticeable difference, and they weren't kidding! It seems to me like I really started seeing a dramatic difference in the way things fit around that time. You will get there! Keep me posted on how it's going!
