I believe that (especially) post pregnancy women benefit more from core strengthening that is Isometric in nature ex. Plank. Cat Vomits are likely safe too as they strengthen the Transverse. Talk to your Trainer, Mid Wife or Doctor but I think that Myotactic Crunches or any type of crunches, supine leg raises etc are out for a while after giving birth
