First few weeks were great, the weight-loss was pretty much diet alone. I went on PAGG, picked up a 25 lb bell & Enter the Kettlebell on DVD and started working with that. I now use a 40 lb and intend to move up to 54 soon.
Stuff I've learned:
Tracking weight's important. At times it gets stressful when it stalls or goes up but it really helps me learn what I'm doing right or wrong.
When you work out and get really sore you retain more water, so if the scale jumps the next day it's okay!
Find an RKC to help you with your kettlebell form. I've learned a lot from my instructor, Gary.
Track and share your results with others! The friends I've made on DailyBurn help keep me motivated.
If you cheat, don't beat yourself up.
Set Goals.
