How much time should be allowed between workouts?

I run at 5AM, get home from work and spend time with family till 8pm, then workout from around 8-10pm....if this is consistent, is it healthy?

You should be fine to run every day. I would think however that you may want to allow more rest time between weight training. Tim makes some good points about the fact that while your muscle may repair pretty quick, it is your internal organs that have to process the bi-products of working out that cause the bottleneck in your recovery time. Let them get rid of the waist and recover fully before hammering your muscles again!
