100 days progress

I did a post on my blog last week of my 100 days progress. I started with the slow carb diet but did a bunch of research, did some experimentation, and made modifications as I went. Getting close to my goal of 10%BF.

HUGE congrats, truly superhuman results! And just in time for the beach too. I haven't seen many slow-carb six-packs, you should be uber-proud! I know exactly how much effort it takes to get where you are, now go relax and enjoy the new you!
  • justhamade commented Apr 14th 2011:
Thanks Laura, I have read a lot of your posts as well which really helped :)

  • brotherwayne commented Apr 19th 2011:
Inspiring! Please explain the modifications that you made. After all the diet is meant to be tweaked.
  • Duke commented Apr 19th 2011:
Awesome results!! How long/ofted do you do the IF? Is it a daily thing or a few days on/few days off?
  • angelbrenda commented May 21st 2011:
So are you doing the Intermittent Fasting, instead of following the "Four Hour Body" Exactly?

The link doesn't work for me. Can you provide an alternative one? Thank you!

Thank you for the links. Must say I'm inspired by your impressive results!
  • NeoFight commented Apr 21st 2011:
Yes, thanks again for the links. I'm going to be starting Geek to Freak but I'm going to modify it with some of the intermittent fasting concepts to prevent the potential fat gain. I'll spend the next month perfecting a hybrid Slow Carb / fasting routine
  • justhamade commented Apr 15th 2011:
I switched to intermittent fasting via leangains.com after a month and had way better results. I have a full post here http://su.pr/2EZqXF and my full routine here http://su.pr/1BV2Hd

Dude... Great results.. I am just getting into this right now. Any suggestions as I get started. I think i have the cooking portion down pat as that is the easy part for me but the exercise iw where I will need some guidance. If I just did the kettlebell exercises is that enough. Did you do any ab exercises?

Good work J,

Cheers,

RR

Awesome results! Keep up the great work man!

If you don't mind, what were your beginning and ending (100 day at least) weights/BF%/measurements?

  • justhamade commented Apr 14th 2011:
Forgot to post that. Weight Start: 183.6 (At one point I was 188) Now: 155-157lbs BF% Start: ~30% Now: ~15% Measurements The only measurement I did was stomach before I started. Went from 38.5' to 33'
  • s joshua commented Apr 15th 2011:
Cool :) reason I asked is our body compositions are slightly different, but you and I are fairly similar in results. I started at 185 and was 159.4 as of last saturday. My abs are starting to show now but the love handles is the last place I lose fat.
  • justhamade commented Apr 15th 2011:
Yes that was the last place for me too. I still have some on my back area. Read the last mile section in the 4HB? Also I have been trying to do a 1 week vegetables only via http://chadwaterbury.com/how-to-get-ripped-with-food-a-7-day-plan/

Most inspiring!

Did you do any specific exercises to target the gut? I started out at 360, down to 300 now but of course the gut is going to be an issue. thanks
