Unsweetened Protein (Help Needs Some Flavor)
In the morning I take a "Unsweetened Natural Flavor Egg White Protein". (I take this instead of Whey, to reduce the insulin spike. I save Whey for after a workout). Does anyone have a way to add some flavor? I don't need something sweet, just something to mask the bad flavor.
I have tried natural coco powder and almond butter with vanilla extract, but neither can cover the flavor.

What are you mixing it with? If just water, I would suggest trying out almond milk. The "blue diamond" brand is sold around me, and there is a unsweetened vanilla variety that I have been using which is 100% slow-carb allowable. If that isn't enough of a change alone, then try adding in the cocoa powder/almond butter/vanilla extract on top of that.
Another way to add a little more flavor would be to include some ground up seeds in your drink. I currently have raw (raw is an important word - even the "unsalted" are still normally fried in oil) sunflower, pumpkin and flax seeds (great source of Omega-3!) with my drink. Just grind them up in a coffee grinder or blender first. Just be careful not to add too much, as seeds are high fat. Start with 1-2 teaspoons of each and find the right flavor point for you
