My 2-Year Journey on the Four-Hour Body
Back in March 2009, I was surfing the Internet, looking for new ideas on how to loose weight and I stumbled upon Tim Ferris' blog. As they say, the rest is history...
Fall 2007:

December 2008 at 348 Pounds:

December 2010 at 260 Pounds:

Here is a pic that I took last weekend:

Right now, I am about 5 pounds or so from losing 100 pounds in 2 years. I plan on losing about 65-70 more. I'm only 5'11, and I've never been under 200 lbs before as an adult, and I hope to reach that goal before my 30th birthday in October.
It's definitely been one heck of a time and I've had plenty of trial and error, but I'm pleased with how I've done so far! This year, I have learned from the mistakes I was making last year, so I'm a lot happier with my progress so far than I was in 2010.

I look at your photos and read your story and can not stop thinking; what you did for yourself not only changed your body, but your spirit too.
Now, you are sharing it, and by doing that bringing motivation and inspiration to many. You went from guy that was just trying to get his life back on the track to somebody that people refer to when they say - "I want to do what he did, it is possible".
What I know is that you will not stop here and can not wait to see for what you will go for next. With strength of spirit you developed by doing this, I am sure sky is the limit .
Strength and honor.
- Thank you so much! This has to be one of the greatest things someone can say to me. I feel so humbled and honored! I really appreciate this.
Honor is all mine to have you as a member of our humble community.
I agree you are an amazing insipiration you have really begun a new chapter in your life!! Please keep us posted!!!! PS Happy 30th in October!!!

Nice Leon! Please tell us top 3 mistakes and top 3 things that worked.
- Top 3 mistakes: 1) Not eating enough 2) Eating trigger foods or things I thought were right, but weren't (cheese, brown rice, etc) 3) Overtraining my body when I exercised (still working on this)
- Things that work: 1) Cutting down on sodium and finding great herbs and spices 2) Sticking to the basics 3) Staying conisistent

Heya, Leon!!
I was just wondering how you are doing now on your journey? Since it is almost 3 years now since you started on it!!! Interested in new pics and an update!
Hi Akane, I am about to attach a recent photo that I took today. I am down to a size Large and my size 40 jeans are beginning to feel loose on me. Considering that I was wearing almost a size 50 waist three years ago when I started, I know I've come a loooooong way, even though my belly is bigger than I'd like it to be!
WOO!!! (not on your belly) But, YAY on shrinking even more!
I'm almost done with my journey that is gonna probably take me over a year to complete.
At least the weight losing part....

That's wonderful!
I hope my question isn't too personal, since I have quite a bit of weight to lose as well - but do you have any skin left over issues, or have things remained more or less okay on that front?

This is amazing! I use these words rarely. Inspirational.
I've popped over 300 once or twice but hover around 260. I haven't been under 200 as an adult also. Good luck on getting down to 200!
Here is a recent photo of me:

WOW!
Great work

Just one thing... SMILE, DARLING!

WOO Awesome!!!! And yes SMILE! You have accomplished so much!!!
Amazing... keep up the good work!
Thanks for posting! Not only are you much thinner......you look so healthy! Congrats!
Hey! I'm new here and just read about your incredible progress. I'm glad to actually see the progress because it makes me feel like it's really manageable.
Since it is end of July 2012 I was wondering how you are doing and if you are still sticking to the diet. Also I was wondering if you (will) stick to the diet now that/once you achieve your goal.
I am still at the very beginning of 4HB and I still/already have difficulties imagining eating fruits only on binge days for the rest of life :o( and was wondering if you have any thoughts on that.
Hi people, thank you for the well wishes and comments. I still have my good days and bad days. I was laid off a few months ago and have been dealing with the depression and stress that comes with having to look for employment and I admit I have been going out a lot more and drinking a lot more than I used to. In spite of that, I've kept to the same range weight-wise, but I'm really doing what I can to control my appetite and cravings so I don't gain a ton of weight.
Here are some recent photos of me

And there's a smile! Looking great! And what an inspiration you are.
