If the sickness is terrible then I agree with the first post on this. I like feeling a little sick during my cheat day. The last one I did I ate a meal with a cheat side and then had about 5 cookies. I didn't even feel like drinking a beer until later that night. I didnt eat dinner instead I had a piece of pie and a cookie.
I think the feeling of being sick reminds me that the food I am consuming on cheat day is bad and makes me enjoy the non cheat food much better.
TF mentioned this in the 4HB which has helped me considerably--I make my first meal a non cheat meal + at least 5 oz of citrus juice before my first real cheat meal.
I don't gorge myself with nothing but junk food on my cheat days anymore since I would get sick to my stomach. I do allow cakes/cookies and all that but on the most part, my cheat days consist of what I would eat if I wasn't on the SCD (whole grain pasta, dairy, rice, juice smoothies, etc.. somewhat healthier but forbidden on the SCD).
I embraced feeling sick. It became a motivator to not feel the way i used to feel.
I eat silly amounts of food on saturday, last week i at a whole large pizza as a meal and felt like i was going to vomit. I woke up the next morning bloated and disgusting, like the morning after a night of absurd drinking, the first thing i though was "i never want to eat bad food again".
That said, if you want to keep binging, take a Prevacid or a Zantac a couple of hours before you start the binge and it might calm some of the stomach pains if they're acid related.. Also, drinking tonnes of water helps me..
