Good news everybody!

Fellow Slow carbers! Just a quick but huuuuuge post for me. I hit two BIG goals of mine, I dropped below the 100Kg mark, and I also dropped below 25% body fat! I'm no longer in the "obese" range! I'm so happy I'm jumping on my one good foot. Big thanks again to everyone in this forum, my next post will be my 6th month check-in next saturday, enjoy your cheat day everyone!

Thank you! this was a huge landmark for me. I can honestly say I teared up when I saw the scale, I never thought I could be at this point again. I'm even more motivated than ever, and I wanna keep going, injury and all, NO stopping me now

Wayda go dude, I'm gonna try to catch up I'm down to 227.5 ^_^ It gets harder from here but each small amount of progress shows bigger so it evens out with appearance!

Drewfis, I definitely have noticed that while the weight is now dropping slower, each little bit is more noticeable than before. I'm so encouraged right now, I'm so so motivated and will not stop now, nothing will stop me.

Congratulations Juan, i have to google the kg's again, but it sounds sooooo good. Hope to see a new picture too! how's the toe or foot? i hope you're getting much better now.

I haven't forgot the pumpkin bread recipe either, i can't find mine around here, but found one online & i wanted to try it first to see if it was good enough to send to you first, hopefully i can make it next Wednesday my cheat day because if i made it before then i'd want to eat it to test it for you!!

Thank you brenda! Its actually 220lbs is about 100kg, I measure in pounds but growing up in latin america the 100kg mark was always a measure of "fat". I remember as a kid people would see someone that was really overweight would say "oh i bet they're over 100kilos" which was always a stigma for me. As far as my foot it is making progress, im with a good podiatrist now and had to have a second procedure done, but it looks like its finally getting better. Please let me know of the pumpkin bread recipe, would love to make some for my thanksgiving dinner!
