United-States flag

stalled in West Chester

Started 07/05/2012 went form 248 to 217 by 10/05 but have stayed there more or less for the last month. (Got as low as 214.)

Not using artificial sweetener in my cappuccino using half soy and half almond milk with a little vanilla now.

Drinking the water 3L/ day, 2 eggs and egg substitute (now egg whites) and some onions and sweet peppers for breakfast. Grilled chicken salad for lunch. Meat and 2 vegs. for dinner.

Not a big wine guy but maybe 2 or 3 glasses of red per week.

I have Rt. knee replaced 11/10 and rotator cuff surgery on 07/12/12 so I'm not looking forward to exercise.

Thanks for any assistance you can give

I see a few issues:

Your biggest problem, no legumes.

For your size 4-5L water a day.

Cut the soy milk. Processed soy is a big no-no.

Also, eat more cruciferous veggies. Eggs n broc is the best!

Thanks for your assistance Chris. I do usually have 2 or 3 types of beans in my lunch salad.

What do you suggest for my cappuccino? I have tried almond milk but I need something to offset the bitter taste.

Again thanks for your help and advice in advance.

What bean recipes do you like for breakfast?

For your cappuccino, try cinnamon or a couple of tablespoons of cream.

I like lentils with a bit of salt.
