Took a look at my numbers.... Kinda pleased!

Hi, I started this journey at the end of July. I weighed myself at 214 (I am 46 yo female). Today is November 2, so I've been doing this about 15 weeks.

I weighed 191 this morning! Some days I feel discouraged that I am not loosing enough, fast enough. But to be honest, even though I don't know the exact number, I KNOW, my fat percentage was really high to start with. The most exciting part for me, after checking all my numbers - I have lost 29.5 inches! 4 from just mt waist. I have " gone shopping" in my own closet, and am thrilled to wear clothes I couldn't squeeze into a short while ago. Also went into a store and got a size smaller pants and wearing a large shirt instead of 1X

The biggest change has been my attitude towards food. I really don't feel like I am dieting. I make food for dinner and am just smarter about the choices I make. I am a mom of 2, both kids are away at college now, but I am used to cooking meals. My cravings have been minimal and I have gotten used to saving my treats for Saturdays. The hardest part for me has been breakfast, I am terrible at getting up early enough. But I manage somehow.

I am going to keep this up! Sorry to ramble on, I am not really talking to anyone else about this. Thanks for the forum, it has been helpful.

Great job Danielle! Doesnt it feel amazing when you can fit into old clothes? especially old favorites. It has definitely been something great for me like I'm sure it is for you. I too don't feel like I'm dieting. Its all about thinking of this as a lifestyle and making the right choices. I often eat big meals and people wonder how I'm losing weight, I tell them you just gotta eat the right things. I have gotten pretty good at the saturday thing too. Like right now Im planning on making crescents for this coming breakfast. Great job! keep going and keep us updated!
