Am I on a good track?

Hello Everyone,

I have been on the SCD for 32 Days now. In total I have lost 12 lbs and gained significant muscle mass so I estimate its really like ive lost 17-18. My clothes fit a lot loser, and I appear slimmer and more toned all around. I am a heavier dude so my question is that I know a lot of ppl have lost around 20 lbs in their first month, I have not but I am not discouraged. I track my weight daily and I adhere to this diet in a strict fashion. So am I on a good track or am I just comparing myself to statistical outliers? Basically am I doing something wrong, or good progress so far?

Here is my data

Hey there thelastmejia,

First off I want to discourage you from comparing yourself to others. The only thing comparing your weight loss with others does is measure of who had/has more weight to lose. The more weight you have to begin with, or the higher BMI you have, the easier it is to lose more weight faster. It doesn't imply your method is any better than someone who has less weight to lose but takes on a similar or same method. Weight loss is weight loss! You're results are stellar, keep them up and worry about comparing methods when you begin to stall so we can pinpoint possible areas of concern to help you jump start weight loss again if and when you need it!

totally on the right track! 12 pounds is awesome...if you are really curious, you may also want to measure total inches this month.
