Pink Moscato?
Hey everyone quick question. I banned my wife from White Zinfadel with the diet but she asked me about Pink Moscato. Is this allowed at night rather than red wine? Thanks

It's a bad idea. Pink Moscator contains twice the sugar of a Cab.
If your wife wants a sweeter experience with a red she should try a merlot since it qualifies as one of the dryer reds. That said, if it's still too much, she could try a Zin (Red, not a pink or white Zin). While it has higher sugar content, it would not be nearly as much as the Moscato.

I think in the book he says nothing but "red" she could try it though and see if she loses anything with it, if not, then chuck it!

I doubt it. I think just dry red wines are "allowed". Moscato is usually very sweet. I'm not an expert though so I don't really know. It may or may not have a significant effect. I guess you'll just have to try.

Too much sugar! Your wife will just have to develop a taste for red wine!

I have found if I add just a splash of diet Sprite (or Sierra Mist, etc) it helps get the dry, red wines down. I am NOT a fan of red wine but really like to have a drink or two at night. This really helped me and haven't noticed any stall in weight loss. I am down 9 lbs in 4 weeks. Hope this helps your wife!
