Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to see some of my abs or even a 4-6 pack in 1 month if I workout 5 days a week and stay on a strict diet? I'm 18 years old, 5'5, 137.2 lbs and this is my current pictures. I was wondering what my body fat percentage is and if it's possible to get to around 10-12% body fat in 1 month if I...

I am getting tired of people thinking they should be losing weight faster. Most of us have been overweight for years. Now that we've found a way to get healthy and lose the extra pounds, many bloggers are in a rush. 5 pounds a week is not healthy. I say, give it some time. Why do you have to lose it so quickly? How lon...

Two days from now will be my four-month anniversary since I started the SCD. I have lost 45 pounds. None of my old clothes fit and at a recent work function one of my bosses (who I do not see regularly) made a joke about me living at the gym. I have not gone to the gym a single time since I started the diet. My weight lo...

So i started at 200lbs before starting the four hour body. I didn't measure my body fat just because for one I totally believed that this diet would work and also I could tell i was losing body fat just by the way my clothes started to fit. My first mistake i made on this diet was doing steak for lunch and beef for dinner ...

Ok, I've been rereading portions of the book (4th time, now) and I'm seeing something that doesn't make any sense. Tim states that fructose flatlines glucose levels nicely (and for a long time) but advises against using fruits because they increased his iron levels (and cholesterol and a few other measurements) which is bad ...

So this past weekend I went to a game lodge in Limpopo, South Africa; it was incredible but not very conducive to sticking to a slow carb diet. So the diet kinda went out the window and although it did fall over cheat day, the cheat day became two days as opposed to one. So today I have started over. Hoping the damage from...

I started this journey on January 3, 2011. I was at 165 lbs, and 24.7% body fat. My waist measured 35 inches. On Friday, 4/22/2011, I was 152 lbs and 6.4% body fat as measured by DEXA Scan. My waist is now 28.5 inches. I just finished a 2 month round of PAGG and am currently on a break from that. I plan on changing m...

I have struggled with weight my whole life, but a year and a half ago I decided to make a change. I did a diet that was similar to the slow-carb diet, but it lacked sustainability. I hear Tim Ferris on the Joe Rogan Experience and was instantly blown away by his immense knowledge. I got the book and love the diet so far!

I've been doing the slow-carb diet for a week now and did the 'geek to freak' exercises twice. According to my body fat scale, my body fat increased from 22% to 27% and my muscle decreased!! How is this even possible? What am I doing wrong? I've been eating really healthy low fat meals with no rice, bread, fruit, whatsoever....

Has anyone read the book Wheat Belly by William Davis? I read about it in the paper today and it sounds just like the 4HourBody, but with more of the science explained. If you've read it, can you let me know if it's worth the buy? Better or worse than 4HB? http://www.wheatbellyblog.com/
