Why is grapefruit used as damage control on cheat days to keep blood sugar low and not allowed on regular days to do the same??

I don't understand why. Love the SCD the only thing I miss is grapefruit. What are your thoughts fellow slowcarbers??

Ok I've been rereading portions of the book 4th time now and I'm seeing something that doesn't make any sense. Tim states that fructose flatlines glucose levels nicely and for a long time but advises against using fruits because they increased his iron levels and cholesterol and a few other measurements which is bad ...
