This is more of a Before/During than Before/After cuz I'm nowhere near finished! Starting Weight 12/15/10 - 429 Todays Weight 07/10/11 - 328.8 I have 4HB to thank for it. Lots of kettlebells, walking and intermittent fasting. I feel *fantastic* and can't wait to see where I end up by the end of the year. Update 8/19/2...

I arrived at day 30 today and I feel amazing. I have lost 8 lbs. (5 being the past week, finally) and 6.75 inches: 1 off both thighs, 1/4 off both arms, 2.75 off waist, and 1.5 off hips. Looks like I've reached my weigh loss goal, and some! My goal was to go from 125lbs at 22% to 105 and 18%... I've fallen off track a few times, jumped back on, and 2 months later I'm at 103 lbs and I'm guessing (I'm going to finish off this week and take an average of the body fat %) that I'm at 15% body fat now. I'll po...

Laura, I think that it's great that you've seen some great results. It's also apparent that you're really into helping people get on the right path after stressing the importance of taking pictures along the way after the blip with the metadata on your "before" picture. However, I'm a fan of full transparency and disclosure...

Water retention can be a major problem for some when on SCD. With our cheat days, we can retain a LOT of water weight as our glycogen levels are replenished- each gram of carbohydrate holds onto 4 grams of water and each gram of salt can hold onto a pound of water. So it's no wonder that we end up looking and feeling bloat...

I know that water burns fats faster because water conducts electricity, but what about cold air? Can just colder air temperatures also help you lose weight even though your skin is not wet? You still shiver from cold air so it must do something, but maybe not that much. I really hope so though, as I was finally starting to s...
