I was under the impression, very mistakenly, that 1 whole egg was closer to 10g of protein for some reason, hence my 3 hard boiled eggs breakfast. Just looked it up and it's closer to 6-7g. That means 4-5 eggs, might be more than I can handle. Any suggestions on other quick, easy, cheap sources of protein I can wolf down aft...

I could be missing something, but it seems like there's a contradiction between the slow carb diet and the Chipotle diet. All the mentions of the Chipotle diet have cheese and sour cream - supposed no-no's on slow carb. Can anyone offer some insights? thanks.

For all the 9-5ers out there, it's extremely challenging to eat the perfectly balanced meals outlined in the book. To make things worse, our office is stocked with all kinds of snacks: chips, candy, soda, you name it. It's driving me mad teasing me every moment. Also, every time I go out for lunch with coworkers I have to e...

Here's my final results of my 4-week adventures in Geek to Freak-Land. It's been a crazy month of pill-popping, milk guzzling, protein overdosing, and iron-pumping, and loved every moment of it all. Last night, just in time for my 1-month anniversary, I finally was able to my goal: to complete 1 pull-up from a dead hang wit...

So I'm going to post my detailed meal plan here and encourage you to do the same. I certainly did NOT follow all of the rules! My diet was more protein heavy because I really hate beans (Tim said to jus...

I've been following the slow carb diet for 2 weeks now and I start to feel sick every time I have to eat.
